I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Daria & Sean's wedding at Lily Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park in September of 2017.
They arrived to the ceremony in a Rolls Royce which made this wedding a Classic! The ceremony was held at Lily Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park with the reception following at an outdoor pavilion in Estes Park, Colorado.
The fall colors throughout Rocky Mountain National Park and around the lake were gorgeous and made an incredible backdrop for the portraits following the ceremony. The colors throughout the day were stunning. The bride wore a traditional Russian shawl as that it is where she is from. The whole day wove both cultures' traditions together.
The morning of the wedding saw some rain, but it cleared up for the ceremony creating the beautiful lighting and mists over the mountain across the lake.
The reception was held in an outdoor pavilion in Estes Park. It started raining again and was freezing in true Colorado, fall fashion. You never know what you will get in September in Colorado!
The reception featured a Chipotle taco bar and pies from Colorado Cherry Company in lieu of the traditional wedding cake. This was perfect for this couple, and the pies were delicious!
The entire day was incredibly beautiful, and I am so blessed that I was able to capture this day for them!
Review from the Groom:
"Mariah photographed our wedding in Rocky Mountain National Park in 2017. She did an incredible job, especially capturing precious moments that felt instantaneous. She got us many prints within a short time after the wedding and all the photos turned out amazing. If you're in need of an attentive and fantastic photographer, Mariah will meet and exceed expectations!"
Hope you enjoy the selection of photos from this day as much as I do!
