Portraits
My images are all edited in a timeless, true-to-color style that captures the moment authentically without being trendy. No sepia-toned images here! I shoot in a natural, candid style with prompts like “dance together” or “walk together” as well as some traditional poses that still feel like you and not like a 1980s awkward prom photo. I deliver a select number of images in black and white as well — I love the timeless look of black and white.
On a wedding day, I utilize longer lenses to be unobtrusive and avoid being right up in the middle of everything happening. I like to be able to stand back and observe. It’s the only way that I can catch all the emotions and candid moments happening throughout the day.
What’s your editing and shooting style?
Weddings only happen once, so I get it! I always shoot with two cameras each with two different memory card slots. Your images are being recorded in 4 places simultaneously to ensure that your memories are safe with me! Once I’m home, they are backed up on a home and cloud server, and I keep those memory cards until your wedding is delivered! Extra safe with me!
How are my images backed up?
Absolutely! Sneak peeks are generally delivered within 2 to 3 business days after your session or wedding. In the case of weddings, you’ll receive a highlight gallery, essentially a more extensive sneak peek. This gallery will have moments from various parts of your wedding day, covering everything from your details and getting ready to your grand exit and private last dance (totally recommended, btw!).
Do I get a sneak peek?
I don’t like to wait, so I don’t like to make you wait either! For both sessions and weddings, full galleries are delivered within one month of the session date.
